Welcome to the New World of Mahee Island Golf Club’s new web site.

We intend, like the BBC, to ‘entertain, inform and educate’ but, like most situations in life, it needs to become a two way street for this to be completely successful. Please let us have your ‘News and Views’ so that the web site becomes an active conduit for all aspects of club life.

All too often I hear members say, “I didn’t know that was happening” or “When is the next event planned?” We need your support in many different ways so please take time to check out the web site and, equally importantly, the notice boards at the Club.

Whilst I am on the subject of support, our club steward, Colin Macaw, and our caterer, Mark Spence, put a great deal of thought and effort into providing a quality service for members. Surely we can return the compliment by giving them as much custom as we can, so that we can all benefit.

At the time of writing this message, a large number of teams are preparing to do battle in a number of national, provincial and regional competitions. Why not note the dates and bring along your support or volunteer your services as a caddy? All assistance welcome.
